Push Up Roller Shutters

Designed for applications where electricity is not present, our Push Up Manual Roller Shutters are controlled manually. For taller installations, a pull-down pole can be included for easy opening and closing. The shutter curtain is constructed from cold rolled galvanised concave steel laths (76mm x 22swg), held in place by a nylon end lock fixed with galvanised steel rivets. Alternatively, flat 50mm lath can be installed at additional cost.

Operation

Weighing approximately 35kg per m², each Push Up Roller Shutter door is designed for easy manual operation and holds a wind class rating up to Class 5 Wind Loading (BSEN 13241-1:2003, BSEN 12424:2000 and BSEN 12444:2001). A roller barrel encases securely fitted helical springs, supported by purpose made cast iron, which counterbalance the shutter for additional safety during closing.

Secure Locking

A rigid inverted L or T section bottom rail ensures that the door closes flush to the ground, which is formed from a cold rolled galvanised section. For additional security, guide locks come as standard with our Push Up Roller Shutters, as well as bottom rail locks which are available at an additional cost.

Bespoke Finish

Whether you select perforated lath or solid lath for your Push Up Roller Shutter, the lath, side guides, support angles and door curtains come galvanised as standard. For those requiring flat 50mm lath, your new roller shutter will be primer painted as standard, with powder coating and plastisol finishes provided at additional cost. Galvanised fascia coil casings, fascia or oil casing (hoods) can also be selected and customised to your needs.
