IDE was formed in 1979 and has since become firmly established as a leading manufacturer of quality industrial doors.
We're able to undertake the repair, maintenance and motorisation of all makes of industrial doors. Our extensive range of doors are produced at our modern plant in Northwich, Cheshire with a total covered production area of 26,000 square feet. The company offers a 24 hour emergency service, using our own teams of engineers. Annual service contracts are available, tailor made to suit your requirements.
LPC ACCREDITATION
IDE are authorised by the Loss Prevention Council (LPC) to manufacture rolling shutter doors and for the service and repair of all types of industrial doors and fire roller shutters.

Approved to ISO 9001: 2000, the latest model for quality and continuous improvement.
Fire Door Manufacture and Installation
A range of fire roller shutter doors tested to BS 476:Part 22, with fire resistance from 1 hour to 4 hours.
Service and Repair
Service and repair to all types of industrial doors is carried out to LPC 1197 Standard.
DSMA MEMBERSHIP
I.D.E. have been members of the Door and Shutter Manufacturers' Association (DMSA) for many years. The DMSA merged with the Association of Building Hardware Manufacturers (ABHM) in January 2004 to form the Door & Hardware Federation (DHF).
CONSTRUCTION LINE
I.D.E. have met the D.T.I. pre-qualification requirements appropriate to both the public and private sector procurement for roller shutter and fire doors, and are listed on the U.K. Register of Pre-Qualified Construction Services.
BRITISH SAFETY COUNCIL
As a member of the British Safety Council, I.D.E. is committed to working towards Health, Safety and Environmental best practice, and is able to provide Method Statements and Risk Assessments for installation and repair works.
